Even with so many postponements and delays thanks to 2020 happening, one thing that remains the same this year is Amazon Prime Day. Thanks to Amazon, holiday deals are happening earlier than ever, with Prime Day moving from its usual July slot to a two-day event on Oct. 13 and 14.

More than 1 million deals will be featured as a result, across every Amazon category. This includes fashions, home goods, electronics and everything in between.

Early Amazon Prime Deals

Some deals are already available, such as discounts on Fire TV devices. Toshiba Fire TV Smart TVs are also on sale, and there is up to a 50 percent discount on selected titles in Prime Video to rent or buy.

However, there is a caveat. These deals are only available to Amazon Prime subscribers. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial for this event, if you aren’t willing to take the plunge yet.

But if you do, it will cost $12.99 a month or $119 a year if you wish to continue with your subscription after the 30 days are over. Along with your membership will come free two-day shipping, access to Prime Video, ad-free music streaming, unlimited reading, and unlimited photo storage.

Students or those who have a valid EBT/Medicaid card may be eligible for discounted memberships.

Some of this year’s deals are going to include discounts on the following:

  • Electronics
  • Fashion
  • Toys
  • Beauty
  • Amazon Devices
  • Kitchen
  • Home

A few brands that will offer Amazon Prime Day deals include:

  • Under Armour
  • Keurig
  • Panasonic
  • Roborock
  • Coleman
  • Adidas
  • Marvel
  • Lacoste

Some of the deals that are already available can be accessed from Amazon’s dedicated Amazon Prime Day page. Some of the early deals include discounts on subscriptions, Amazon products, appliances, toys, tools, and much more.

Prime Day Will Start on October 13

Amazon will kick off Amazon Prime Day at midnight PT on Tuesday, October 13 and will run through Wednesday, October 14. The deals are valid for Prime Members in the US, and for many others abroad.

If you’d like to get a head start on Prime Day, Amazon is offering an additional savings of $10.

The $10 credit will be available for customers to use on Prime Day if they spend $10 on items sold by select small businesses. This is part of Amazon’s $100 million investment into small business programs.

Amazon is also offering a bonus for members who apply for and are approved for Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Cards.
